At first I wanted to draw Lara with Ankh in one hand, shooting at a skeleton in the distance. Then a friend told me it is supposed to be Shadow of the Tomb Raider only. After being disappointed and angry for some time I decided to draw Lara resting by a campfire with some mexican carvings on a wall.

I finished the drawing right before the competition was about to end, and after submitting it I realised I should have done more details for the wall (it doesn't look like stone) and maybe not leave so much empty space. It is supposed to be a coloring book after all.

I enjoyed the process of brainstorming this and drawing it as well. It kicked me into wanting to draw again, if nothing else.

Also I might do the TR4 Lara in the future.
