Why isnt there an option to delete one of your submissions? I think this would help keep space for NG and get rid of the crappy stuff, but it may also delete some of the good ones, but im sure if you have a submission thats really good, you wouldnt delete it.

i think we should be able to delete our own movie if you want , a delete button is a really good idea

But what i mean is, say if i had a submission i didnt like anymore, it hasnt been reviewed in years, so no point keepign it or updating it, i just delete it then.

a) It'll increase the trend of fucktards deleting their older, crappy stuff to make their batting average artificially high
b) Given the number of IWP, LF, Knox et al haters, it'll be far too tempting for people to hack their accounts and delete everything

I dont see why there is no Delete-Button, because I'm really embarresed about my old flash movies and I want to delete them.
I hope the admins will come to their senses ans make such a button, it will reduce the number of GB, Crappie shit, Porn and fucked-up flash movies (like mine) and increase the standard of NG.

Just e-mail wade or change the name of the flashes you want deleting to 'DELETE MEH' or alike, and change the Flash itself to something just saying 'Delete me please' and it will be deleted eventually.

Like I said before, all your reasons for not having a delete button are retarted:
1. If you are so afraid of people trying to make their batting-average higher (which is stupid, because batting-average is just a silly number!), NG could make it so, that if you delete a file, the score will remain part of your batting-average forever.
2. It is so simple to make deleting secure: NG could send you a confirmation-email after deleting a file, to ask you whether you really want to delete that movie/game.
Their is no reason not to have a delete-button...

I have yet to read a good argument of why we don't have a Delete Submission button. Yes, you can email Wade, wait 5 years, and maybe have you submission deleted. This makes more work for Wade, and it isn't guaranteed that your submission will be deleted. Over the last few months, I've emailed Wade like 12 times to delete my submission... and it is still there. Another argument was that people would delete good movies they made. I don't see that happening. The reason many want to their delete movies is for the simple fact that they suck. It might have been one of their first submissions, and maybe it reflects poorly on their actual skills. If it brings their batting average up, so be it. That doesn't really mean shit. Now, addressing the hacking accounts argument, there is one simple solution; MAKE A REDICULOUS PASSWORD! NG has almost no loop holes or php flaws, which makes fucking shit up very hard. One of the only ways to gain access to an account is to know a persons password. Even if someone did manage to get into an account and delete the movies, I'm sure they still have the origin .swf and can re-submit it. In conclusion, I think a delete submissions button would be great.

Newgrounds probably likes having loads of submissions here. Allowing people to delete their own might jeopardise that.
