Yesterday I bought the book and I read a bit of it I am on page 296 now but on one of the first pages there was a spelling error it read fug instead of "fog" it was used in the sentence"The misty fug his breath left on the glass".For a multi million dollar publishing company One letter wouldnot be that hard to detect,I know everyone makes mistakes but honestly fug and fog how could the company let that one slip.

OMG the book is ruined because of a spelling error
OMG it's my little half-brother's birthday and they were at Lazerquest, so I read some of the new Harry Potter book, and it looks set to be an exciting and magical adventure.
It is just one tiny little typo,it's no big deal but it is pretty funny since it's Harry Potter.

I have finished the book already. And I have looked back and there is no mis spelling of fug. Maybe that's because I'm reading the Irish version.
i think they just wanted the book to get out as fast of possible...or maybe the publisher just plain sucks

i noticed that as well when i read it but fug is actually a word apparently

It was probably a printing error, it's nothing to worry about, either that or it was a smudge...

I noticed the word "fug" in the beginning of the book as well, when he was at the window waiting for the time to come when Dumbledore said he would meet him (it's in the beginning of the book, so would that be considered a spoiler? I doubt it), and it said something about "fug". I thought it was a spelling error as well, but then I thought that fog does not collect when you breathe onto a window.
