IDK what to do. I am making a game, and i need some help. If touched or if too much damage is taken, i want it to go to a certain frame. Can you help me on this?

if(this.hitTest(_root.spikes)){
gotoAndStop(#);
}
}
replace '#' with the frame number you have the game over screen on, and replace 'spikes' with the instance name of what the spikes are called, this goes on the player's movie clip.

and to the thread starter,google hitTests. the other guy said to use a hitTest, it wont be set up the same as yours, so how about we dont "put" it anywhere and you observe the code and adapt it to your needs? sounds good huh?
