The Politics Regulars Lounge beats the LUL by about 200 pages. I'm pretty sure there might be a longer thread in C&C but I can't recall exactly, everything else I can remember for being obscenely long (like anime club or ng mafia) are shorter by the two threads mentioned by almost 1000 pages

Well, has anything you know of in the CC passed the Amature sig makers in length? I remember it being the longest thread ages ago with 2,319 Pages.

I believe that one is now the longest in the C&C. Number 2 being Metal Hell with 2,145 pages.
I remember someone claiming long ago that the Anime Club was the biggest topic on NG at some point. But then it was overtaken by the LUL. Could be that the politics regulars lounge has been #1 all along.
But anyway, I guess the current top 5 is:
1) - The Regulars Lounge Thread -
2) Wi/Ht? Level up! Lounge
3) Amature sig makers
4) Metal Hell
5) Anime Club
First four being over 2,000 pages long. I think the LUL is #1 in page views though. I can't recall any other topic that has reached over 1,000,000 views.
For it's time, especially, the ASM was absolutely massive. Before it gained the number one place, the largest thread on the site was Shrapnel's infamous "NG's biggest topic", which was just 797 pages long when it was finally terminated by Wade. I believe that ASM took over it in mid-2004, although I may be wrong about that. I'll keep looking for larger threads, but if there's one bigger than that I doubt that it'll just easily go under all of our noses. I believe the top five list is accurate.
