My fav. jimi hendrix song is machine gun on the band of gypsies cd. That songs got the sickest rhythm. And since when did hendrix die nearly 50 years ago? more like 30 dude.

c mon, theres gotta be more jimi hendrix fans then this, im learning purple haze solo right now :O its actually not that hard.
I cant really choose.. they're all so great! But the song that got me lisening to hendrix is castles made of sand.
every thing in the song just fell together so perfectly. the only thing i dont like about it (as well as most hendrix songs) it's too short.

I'm in, and Hendrix wasn't just oen of the greatest guitarists ever, he is one of the best musicians (in general) ever.
My favourite song however is either All Along The Watchtower or Highway Chile.
