This is a Brown Headed Cowbird. It is a harbinger of disorder and ecological chaos. It is a parasitic avian that lays its eggs in the nest of other, more beautiful birds and forces it to take care of its young. Which end up growing TWICE the size of its "adoptive" sibling. Now, I bet you're asking yourself "what the fuck does that have to do with me?" The answer: Quite a bit. You see, Some birds end up pushing their unwelcome guest out of the nest. Which causes the mother cowbird to kill the the "adoptive" broodlings. However, they will abandon their young if humans make contact with them. So if you see one these little fuckers out of the nest, STOMP IT INTO THE EARTH LIKE THE VERMIN THAT IT IS! That way, the native species don't have to suffer from these flying terrorists.
Thank you for your time and Lunaspeed.

You'll soon have to. Because they're notorious for nesting in gutters, chimneys, and even air conditioning units.

If this was any other species, I would agree with you. But these are a menace. A plague not just upon humankind and other animals, but the natural order of which all living things depend on.

these things spring from this natural order though

so it's impossible they are a plague on it

they aren't some man-made creation

No. I'm not gonna stomp on a baby bird.
What the fuck is wrong with you?

You hate a species because it knows how to survive? I don't see you making threads about stomping on baby lions cause they kill zebras and shit.

Stomping a baby bird? To death?

How about we just cook them and eat them. They look pretty tasty.

Way to twist my argument out of context, you ignorant fuckhead. If you actually read what I typed, you would see that they are a pest that threatens the native populations. think before you type next time yes?

I'm not twisting anything out of context. It's nature, and that's how that bird survives. Just like how fleas survive by living on dogs.
Parasite =/= menace of nature.

Yes I was saying. What am I supposed to be looking at in that articles? Nothing there says that.

I wouldn't recommend it. They're covered Lyme Disease and all sorts of parasites and even if you went through the trouble of plucking and boiling them, It would make what little meat they have tough and stringy.

Parasite =/= menace of nature.

And that's why we have various powders, sprays and pills to get rid of fleas. I suggest we use similar methods to get rid of these pests.

You might want to study some biology.

It's kind of our fault. You see, when illegal aliens would cross the Mexican border, they would keep these vermin as pets for some weird reason.

You've yet to demonstrate how these "pests" are a threat to humanity and to all the other animals in the animal kingdom.

Jedimaster I'm surprised at you. I thought you of all people would've read my first post clearly stating that they are known to force other birds to take of their young. And as for the human hazard, two words: BIRD FLU! Just becase it's not in the public eye, doesn't mean it's no longer there.

I'd either just sick my cat on them, or shoot them with my pellet gun.

Add Starlings to that list also.

That's right I like guns and ponies. NO NEW GUN CONTROL.
