Why hello there! Welcome to the Final thread of the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch 2013 (NGADM '13)! Yeah, we're finally at the end of what has been a tremendous competition. I'd like to start off by thanking all of you who've taken part, be it by auditioning, judging, or making it through to the knockout, this competition wouldn't be what it is without you! If you're really really behind and you don't know what the NGADM is, check out this thread to find out more. But for those of you who have been eagerly waiting for this moment, let's get started!
As all of you know by now, this thread will hold the results of the Final Round of the NGADM. The competitor with the highest score this round wins the competition and gets to have the biggest ePen0r of the portal. As with every round this competition, it was pretty hard deciding who gets the higher score and who doesn't. Both competitors were fantastic, and both would deserve to win in their own rights, but ultimately there can be only one winner!
Before we proceed, we would like to thank all the people that have helped out throughout the competition: camoshark for his list of submissions and threads which he's been keeping since the start, Artist-Lost for making the awesome logo, kirbyfemur for keeping an ongoing list of auditions, MetalRenard and PirateCrab for backup judging when we needed them, Back-From-Purgatory for keeping the peace with his mod powers, Blackhole12 for making the handy Round 1 and 2 playlists, gadogry for making those nifty stats throughout the rounds, SourJovis for making unofficial ranking lists to show competitors where they stand, Braiton for making a cool genre count for the auditions, and finally PeterSatera for being awesome enough to make the prize signatures which you'll be seeing shortly. Also, we'd like to congratulate Kor-Rune and etherealwinds for getting the joint third place this year! Aside from that, thanks to skyood, SkyeWintrest, johnfn, SoundChris, Nimble, Blackhole12 and Petersatera for giving us suggestions for future competitions which we will definitely be taking into consideration!
We'd again like to thank the great judging team for this competition, who as always put a lot of time and effort into getting you these results and all the results in the previous rounds: me, SkyeWintrest, Step, bassfiddlejones, alternativesolution, Back-From-Purgatory, and Neon-Bard. Unfortunately, SkyeWintrest could not make it this time round, so the score is an average of only six of our seven judges. These things do happen, and it's the reason we have a good number of judges in the first place, so never fear, the result is still fair as always!
And that should be it! After 4 months and 26 days of musical conquest, racoons, Leonardo Di Caprio, paddlings, samurai hackers, translated text files, stolen hard-drives, trolls, Skye the doge, timely auditions, spilt mspaint, an epic battle between Step and I, and above all, a truly amazing selection of music, it's finally time for the FINAL RESULTS!
