Dragon Ball Z Sprite Collaboration.

If you’re a flash sprite animator and wish to be part of this collab, I’m going to need for you to bring your best. So far I have a few members that are already on board with this project and more may soon to come. We will be working with nothing but HD sprites and each animator will be working on a scene assign to them. You will have complete creative freedom when it comes down to the fight scenes. All I ask from you is to align and insert the dialogs where they need to be.
I will be putting all the files together and for the animators, story board and more. This project will require a lot of planning, so there will be no rush or deadlines.
Now for you talented voice actors who wish to play a role in this collab, you can submit a small sample of which character you wish to play as. Note, I’m giving many people a good chance on playing the roles for this project so competition maybe great and I’m looking for those who sound at least 99% alike for the characters. If your trying out for Goku then you must sound like him as if I hired the actors from the series it self.
If you don’t get the part of the character you’re trying out for, then there’s still a chance you may get a role of another.
I don’t have the list of all the characters they may play in the project but don’t let that stop you from trying out. And if you can play the role of more than one character then that’s more power to you. Again this is not a rush or a deadline project so you have plenty of time. I have FFV who has a youtube channel for nothing but DBZ animations and he was kind enough to put a video together for me on what this project is going to be about.

I'm up for the idea of a sprite movie, I've had a good mind to do one as well, as a collab with mrqball80 and theredheadhenry, but since mrqball80 quit, I abandoned the idea...

It's a very ambitious project, though, especially in terms of voice actors... but eh, let's be optimistic :P If enough people know, maybe this can really turn into something great!

I don't exactly have a lot of time on my hands these days, but I'm really willing to help out with this (in animation of course).

Thank you for replying Blaze, I've been trying to get a hold of you and I would love to have you on the team. So far I have three talented animators. This is not a rush or deadline project so it's going to take quite some time to do. The more animators we have the better this project will become. I'm a fan of your work and I'm grateful you took the time to even reply. Sorry about mrqball80, he's also a great animator and if you happen to hear from him as well, please inform him about this collab if he's interested.

Mrqball80 made a new account but he's been inactive for months...he also was never the guy to share any contacts or anything so there's not really much I can do to contact him... Maybe if you could get Atomik on the team? He's amazing and would probably do it.
As for voice actors, I've done voice acting in the past but I can't really nail many characters... I could do cell, broly, fat buu and kid buu, recoome, nappa, puar, zarbon... but you dont really need any of those do you XD I had a talented voice actor on my team for DBAF, but along the way he became a jehovahs witness and decided that's more important to him... shame really, he could do loads of characters perfectly.
I'll see if I can find any voice actors for this, for now, glad to be a part of the team :)

In fact those are the characters I do need actors for. I have people that are trying out for the characters so I can give those a chance to see how well they do before making a final call on who will be playing who. And for Atomik do you have a link to his work or even contact? I'll like to see what he can do. And here is the list of characters I need voices for.

I would like to be an animator in this if possible. Also is the script finalized yet? Because I was thinking that maybe since freeza was the main villain of the last movie that maybe another villain can come back, like the beginning freeza looks like he'll be the main villain but cell was planning to absorb freeza for instant power(along with others in hell) and that the combined strength would be enough for him to get himself out of hell. anyways thats just a suggestion, i'm more interested in animating than story planning lol.

Thanks for the suggestion, and a good one at that. But this project will be about Frieza, I do tend to bring the other bad guys into the picture but it will take some time to do. Far as you being an animator I welcome you. The more help, the faster this project can get done. There's a lot of work and planning I must do before anything. I will inform everyone when the time comes, but as for now it's getting the team together.

by details I mean canvas size, fps, which sprites in particular to use, backgrounds, sounds, ect. or is all that gonna be sent to us when the time comes?

By the way, were you by any chance contacting animators through private messages on youtube? because that doesn't work. I mean, it works, but youtubers dont get notified about private messages, you have to manually check them on some link. I wouldn't know otherwise but recently I remembered this and checked my inbox and had about a year's worth of unread material XD I even saw you contacted me like 4 months ago and I had no idea....
Just so you know if you haven't gotten responses from people, rather write on their channel or video comments or their facebook page or something. They're way more likely to see it....i have about a year's worth of messages to go through today XD damn, ever since they put google+ in, youtube has been a shit service.... -_-

Oh wow, sounds like you have a lot of catching up to do. Most replies are taking place on Youtube for those who wants in on this project. I'm recommending them to join newgrounds, this is the building source for putting the team and project together.
Youtube is slow on their updates with messages and stats, but I don't have any other way of contacting other animators unless they have another site.

He brought this to my attention and I thought,you know,what the hell,why not c: I will warn you,dbz animations are not my strong suit but im sure I can get around that. No nothing yet Blaze, I been busy working on my latest project. This one will require a lot of time and planning. I will let everyone in the project know when the time comes when I'm ready. In the mean time don't worry about this project yet.

Everything. Nothing will happen till all the lines are written and recorded. I do have some files on hand far as characters and backgrounds, but that's about it. So for now guys don't worry about this project. This is one of the reasons I say this project will take a year or two to complete. Give me time to work at it so things can be easy to sort out.
