The two many games meetup is on my birthday! Have a white russian in my memory lol
We just upgraded to php 8 at my work and it was a pretty major nightmare. Glad it went relatively smoothly for NG!
Yeah, I noticed that I'm not a moderator, that must be a bug!
But for real, if I spot anything, I'll let you know.

I probably underplayed just how big of a project it has been here, too!
Adding this, as the android problem is happening on my end too!
In an unrelated question (because I don't know where to ask) and I know lots of work goes into stuff like this, so just showing interest in the topic, rather than asking for the feature: could there be a way to automatically go Fullscreen on HTML5 mobile games here?
Newground's system works great, but landscape games still have to deal with the browser bar on mobile browsers and it's a huge pain, hahahaha.
Itch.io does this somehow. I wish I'd knew enough about HTML5 coding so I didn't have to bother, because I know people have ways to deal with this
Hey um.
I have a collab project that's due in 12 days, and since the stupid unannounced ban for GoAnimate content.
I'm fucked here...
If I do try my hardest pushing the program to it's limits like this, would I still be allowed to post this?
Started the collab video back in December and I am still adding stuff onto it.
Also I hate it how you need Support to have more than 10 images for a art portal post.

asking for a favour and criticizing the site in the same post, what a legend
tries too hard to be edgy and is blocked by many because he acts rude towards others to feel better about himself.

I've made a ticket for this now, would be great to ditch that tab bar.

Hmm, if this might've affected the NewGrounds.io API, do you happen to know if the process was started before January 29? Blit-blat let me know at that point that the API was having issues with sessions timing out within an hour of starting gameplay so medals and highscores wouldn't register at that point, and more tests by other people using other API implementations (specifically Unity) and my own tests using pure JavaScript point to it being an issue on the server side. We've been talking about it on the Discord but it's currently still unresolved.
I'm not 100% sure that it wasn't an issue before sometime in late January -- I never specifically tested to make sure that medals would unlock correctly if people played for more than an hour before reaching the unlocking conditions, but no one brought it up before.

Is there will be spooky background when it's finally the "Spooky Month" Event in Newgrounds?

When October rolls along we'll likely have a Halloween background, like previous years.

One of the newgrounds API tutorial pages seems to be broken: It just says "You do not have permission to view this page."

its not broken those are just old & you should use the process on the ngio wiki under User Sessions

Thanks for the info! Though I ended up using a wrapper library for my game anyway, which was much less hassle than using the API.
I will note that I was directed to those particular wiki pages by the API itself when one of my calls returned an error. So maybe the server needs to be updated or something?

Thanks for the heads up there, I logged a ticket for this now!
