I could have bought a ride photo but I didn't in the end. There were too many to choose from so it was best leaving it entirely. I'll get another one if it's extra special.

As for me, I'm aiming for 20k icons before the end of the year. I need 6,230 to get there so it'll be tight, especially when I have two (possibly three) live shows to see for the rest of the year. I've taken out the consideration for those days as well as Christmas so I need to make at least 105 icons a day from now until December.

For some reason, most of the jokes are, but that's because translating good morning in an English accent (i.e. in French) to "good moaning" in a French accent (i.e. Englishman speaking poor French) doesn't translate well.

Mostly it's because naturally all characters in a german dub speak german. But this is sometimes very weird. For example in the Bond movie "Octopussy" where James is in Germany and borrows a car from some german tourists. They act as if they don't understand him (because he's speaking english in the original) and yet he talks german the whole time in the dubbed version. So, why do the tourists don't understand Bond if he's talking their languange the whole time?

I would assume that morning and moaning are different in German, thus they don't sound alike.

"Morgen" and "Jammer"... no, doesn't sound alike. ^^

Another example would be MASH, where many word plays got lost.

Here is something, does anyone actually know apart from small details what the redesign will be like? I remember the last redesign and we heard a lot about it.

We had a screenshot leak but that's it. Anything else, it's just been the odd things the staff have blurted out but they could be kidding around.

But it's funny if you see something that is supposed to be german but doesn't make any sense at all. For example in Hogan's Heroes there where boxes that had "Dies Ende auf" written on them, supposedly a translation of "this end up". Well it is a translation, but a word-by-word one. "Dies Ende auf" doesn't make any sense. ^^
