umm could you do a smaller one? it takes a lot of extra KBs and is hard to find a page that can host lots of space :/
Guys, okay, I'm in. If someone will b e nice enough to give me a very basic iPod outline, I'll fill it in, and add details. I started Iso not too long ago. I know, I suck. But, just for a few days of practice, I say it's good. That base is different from my workings, sorry 'bout that. I though they were the same sizes. I'll get to work on some nice ones in a bit... I think I'll resize the grass cube, and then make the iPod. Please, hold off the flash for a bit. We need this to be MUCH bigger. Also, please include my name in the credits.
Hey, if your an AWSOME isometrical artist, please, IM me sometime. I need to despertly improve my skillz. My AIM in in my profile, and my MSN is fire_emblemd@hotmail.com. If that doesn't work, it's fire_emblemed@hotmail.com. I haven't logged onto MSN in awhile. I'll get on if you wanna help me.
Another thing I should metion. When I get much better at isometrical pixel art, I'm going to work on my first flash, Flash City. It'll be like a Sim City-ish game, with isometrical pixel art. So, I need an advanced ASer. But, I won't be working on this project for a year or two at the latest.

are you still using ms paint to update???
uh oh..
i reccomned you dont. If you know any thing about JPEGS/PNGs.... you wont. In an image edited by ms paint. The amount of space and pixels are the same no matter how much you update. So0o0o... with that adding on to the tower makes the bottom parts even more less quality. If you have fotoshop, save the updated tower (mine, since i have good quality) and open with fotoshop. save as PSD. and every (new) block shud be counted as a layer. thaat way, you can still maintain good quality. export/save as PNG/JPG
done!
(i noticed.. that your updates were bad quality)
HAHHHAHHA i fixed it,,
i know the top is the wrong shape and all but its gonna get cut off anyway...
why bother with exta work?

It would be cool if you could javascript the tower so when you lick on a piece of the cube a song plays that goes well with that cube.
ex. Q*bert cube could play that little Q*bert jingle that the game starts with
and so on...

or flash?

:P
SRSLY
that would make the filesize too big but you could have it were you click the cube and it animates a little bit
These tower look like crap...If you guys knew anything about isometric pixel, or just pixel art itself you would know what I have already found out. I started this same project but different base and everything on DA and Pixeljoint. With a much better idea and alot more organized.
The idea, if stolen, wont do you any good because everyone already knows I started the remake.
First off. You guys never selected a set light source. Your building looks like crap because of that. Unless there are hundreds of different suns at different locations zooming in on each building, there would be the same point of light on each building.
Also the buildings are horribley put together. So I simply added a border of types around the outside of the block that I made. This way when the tower is put together it looks alot better.
I also made the block grey, had the colors shaded right, for the light source. The grey also helps give it a nicer look. Below are attached the two the pictures.
The top is the template for MY project and the bottom is the light source diagram for MY project.
Enjoy.
BTW quality might be a little low since you cant post .bmp or .png on these forums.
