We've all moved on. The ones affected have decided to do something about it themselves rather than wait for a cure all. Most regain whistles as short as a couple of days or a week.
So question beccomes, why haven't you done the same?

I doubt the admins are going to do anything about that. You'll just have to get your whistle back on your own. I went from Gold to Normal, and I'm back up to gold now. Some of the people who went down to Garbage are Deity now.
I'd just assume that nothing will be done about it, and try and restore it yourself.

I personally don't see the need for a new thread. You people have made a lot of improvements regarding spam, and I'd even dare say that the reviews being flagged have also been improving (despite a recent mishap or two).
I think if you people keep that up, and are willing to take this thread a little more seriously, we won't need to change things as it is. That's all I'll say regarding the issue outside the confines of where the real discussion's at.
