I hypothesize that someone runs around the Audio forum, someone who has high exp, and randomly votes 0's. I just made a song, I gave it 5/5, then someone else gave it 5/5, next thing I know, there is another vote and the score is down to 3? I know the buffer is bad but I wrote that under the song. Which leads me to another question: How do you export mp3s (in FL Studio) with good buffers?
Anyway I'm not accusing anyone, but I think there is a rogue voter lurking in the audio section...

Yeah the only way to regulate it would be for a moderator (or algorithm) to see each individuals votes, if a person's zero ratio is too high their votes become invalid for like a week and their votes of zero are erased. This (arguably) is a violation of free expression but since this is a private website it doesn't have to abide by all governmental regulations. I think it would be beneficial if they did this.

Score doesn't effect the quality of my music so im not to bothered...

Yeah, I tried that, unfortunately it didn't affect the quality very much, and it didn't have any impact on the MP3.

There some people who do that but more likely someone just didnt like your submission..it happens

Honestly, some people just don't like other people's work and hopes they "Die In A Fire."
I don't think you should vote 5 for your own song, but that's just me.

the 0 voters have been a problem of the AP since it was created and still is not fixed...
stupid fucks vote 0 on every track they found without even listening to it for getting his tracks upper in the rating thingy...or they r fans of other authors and they vote 0 on every track to have his idol upper.
w/e the factor is..i recommend do NOT think u suck cuz of the score..just read the reviews that's what makes us audio authors happy..cuz the score system...well..SUCKS!
there's no way to track the 0 voters not even through IP cuz they can change it or through user cuz : : :they create another...so i leave no place to doubts..live with it...=)..plz excuse my bad english.
Some of us have a very high standard of musical quality. Some of use follow the 0 or 5 system, which entails looks at it\s actual score and deciding wether we would like to see it higher or lower.
I fall under both categories.

0 voting happens all the time, its the same thing with flash, just htat there are more users voting on flashes, thus making the 0 votes not as powerful as with audio. the system is the way it is, and the admins are very much aware of what its leading to.
also, we get alot of threads like this, which is why im locking it.
