I recently got the trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS3, and have been having fun with that for a while. I was wondering if anyone on NG has made any digital CDs and would like some cover art for 'em.
Anyone who is looking for someone to do one, should ask here.
Anyone who can do this stuff, should offer their services.

Well, if you don't have a CD yet (A CD is probably classified by a group of songs), then make one. After that, link me to 'em so I can get a feel for your music and so I know im nnot doing it for songs that dont exist. Then just tell me what you want included.
1) Colours
2) Design
3) Style
4) Pictures?
that kind of thing.

Sweet! Why don't you post a piece of your art so people can get a feel for what you make, then, they can choose who they want to do their cover.
e.g. I wana space themed cover by Nav that is 500x500 pixels and has a picture of a planet on it.
Oh, below is the cover for F-777's "Environmental" CD he plans to make in the future. It is trance songs themed to different parts of nature.

Could you make one that says "Zenon" in the middle and somewhere else it says "Just Ride"? The Main color should be a dark purple and black, and maybe you could even incorporate a car in there. The rest (like effects) are all up to you :)
Heh, I like the sound of this, any chance I could get one too? Preferably something that's somewhat similar to the stuff on my userpage and for my signature? Though any added-in creativity or special touches are more than welcome. ;) Text is optional, though having just "Karco" on there would be neat.
Ok, here's a little taste.
My friend made a basic shape and told me to make it look good. So I did.
I'm good with using textures, abstract shapes, and filters, but I'm not good with vivid descriptions, details, or actual... things... unless I can get a good base image to use.
RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR COVER REQUESTS:
Okay, I can see this getting out of hand really quick. so, here are some guidlines you MUST provide when making a request...
1 - PROOF OF CD -
So that we know we are making a cover for something that accually exists, you need to provide a link to your songs (should have at least 3 please) that will feature in the CD. This will allow us to know for sure that you indeed plan to release a CD, and are not just wasting our time. It also provides you with an example to showcase a bit of your work, but thats NOT the point of it!
2 - FEATURES -
[ All covers will be 500x500 pixels, unless asked for otherwise ]
Tell us what you would like featured in your cover, including:
- Backround Picture
- Colors
- Wording (and colors of wording)
- FX requests (We will do our best to facilitate these, but no promises)
3 - ARTIST -
Who you would like to make your cover for you. Please do not overload people with work, or they will simply not finish anything. I will spend approx 1 hour on an image, at the end of that hour, you get what you get.
Do NOT repeat requests! If you keep whining about it, it will not happen.
I (and others) will try as hard as I can to facilitate requests, but we reserve the right to refuse to make them. If it is INNAPROPREATE or OVERLY COMPLICATED, we will not be able to do it.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF YOUR REQUEST
I do not want to seem like a bad guy, I just want to make sure this thread does not get out of control.
Well, I'll join up as an artist, but I tend to prefer illustrations which take about a week to do (possibly longer if I'm busy with school.) Also, I'm not gonna waist my time if I don't think you'll take my work seriously. I'm good in photo shop, but who isn't?

There's actually a bunch of people at school that like my music and I hate giving them plain CDs. If I could have the cover I requested, I'd cum everywhere :)

fuck yeah man. Thats sick. Curious, how much of that is stock/ are you using illustrator at all?
K ummm, I use the trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 (only 20 days left!). The only thing stock in that image is the Car. The rest I made using line tools, circle brushes, gradient fills etc.

I know it might be a little early, but what type of college are you thinking about looking into, if any? You might have a thing for graphic design :P
