We'll have the pumpkin carving contest as Halloween approaches closer. BTW, give Karoshi 15 minutes and you'll be hooked:
Every day, over 150 games and movies are submitted to Newgrounds. You guys have blammed over 300,000 of them over the past eight years, but almost 140,000 remain and many precious gems have gone undiscovered.
Each year we have a Treasure Hunt competition, where everyday users are invited to spotlight overlooked submissions. We have traditionally asked everyone to point out FUNNY submissions, but this year we would like to invite ALL overlooked submissions to be suggested. Games, movies, serious and funny.
A submission is considered undiscovered if:
1) It isn't part of a collection.
2) It has never been front paged, in which case it likely has less than 20,000 views.
In past treasure hunts, we have found gems like these:

This year, the door is wide open for a lot more!
Respond to this post with THE BEST submissions we haven't seen. One good way to find them is to search for random words and browse the results. Sometimes the best submissions don't have a high score or a lot of views. While combing through the site, never hesitate to add submissions to your FAVORITESlist! It's a great way to keep track of obscure stuff that you may never stumble across again.
To spice things up this year, we've introduced a new featurefor "rich content linking" or whatever you wanna call it. Simply paste the full URL of a submission as a standalone line of text, and our forum will convert it to an attractive submission link like the ones you see above. This also works for music, but we'll visit that in a future thread! You can recommend multiple submissions but don't go crazy or people might ignore you. We are looking for THE BEST OF THE BEST.
Whoever makes the BEST discovery will win $250, a newgrounds t-shirt and a bunch of stickers. We will announce the winners after I get back from Japan, so it will be at some point during the week of October 20th! That gives everyone TWO WEEKS to respond to this thread before judging starts. GO GO GO!
NOTE: If you have any issues that need to be addressed in the next two weeks, please PM Wadebecause I will be checking in sporadically from Japan and the Tokyo Game Show. Don't forget to log in and vote for the Best of September if you were one of the top 2000 active users last month!
