cool game but i took 30 minutes to beat evrything
This is a Sonic the Hedgehog version of the classic "match the pairs of hidden pictures" memory game.
There are 80 Sonic picture cards (so that's 40 pairs of pictures to match) comprising 10 different Sonic characters, each appearing 8 times in the 10 x 8 game grid. Successfully matching pairs of the picture cards will slowly reveal a much larger random bonus Sonic picture in the game grid. There are 3 different "level" themes to choose from, each one featuring a different piece of background music from 3 classic levels of the first ever Sonic game that appeared on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in 1991.
The object of the game is simple but challenging: clear the game grid by matching all the hidden picture pairs in the fastest time, and in the least number of moves, as you possibly can. Your best score will be stored locally on your computer for future reference (and there is a reset option to clear that later if you ever want to). Also, just in case you want it, a "World Top 10" high-scores table version of the game is available at MarioSonicGames dot com - click on the link in the game to get to the site.
Enjoy! :-D

i love sonic and this is a amazing brain game :)
Lots of fun
I am not usually interested in match and memory games (probably because there are so few of these games on the website). I was also a bit scared when the screen was so big. Thank you for making it easier with not every single thing being different. I loved this because it was so amazingly basic yet lots of fun. This is the kind of game where you are eager to keep going because it gets easier as more things are eliminated. I felt it was a great Sonic tribute as well.
Many people say the Sonic games have gone downfall since it went 3D, so it's great to see references to the classic games. These designs are simply classic and so are the characters. It seems like they were just never used very well. The music was also classic and it is nice that you wanted to make a tribute to the old style. Now, it could have been a bit more detailed but other than that, great.
Not my kind of game but..
This isint my kind of game but its really good, I like the Graphics you made too you are very talented with making 3D objects in flash.
Nice
I think this is a really fun match game. Needs more levels and pictures. Other than that, keep up the work.
>>Sidenote<<
Did you draw the pictures or are they off the internet?
Thank you, glad you like it. I'll try and sort out a much larger and more varied sequel at some point in the future. The images on the picture cards are actually based on the sprites from the original 16-bit Sonic games of the early 1990's.
