a video game about dysphoria and astronauts

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is an experimental game about exploration and discovery which serves as a psychogram of a gray wasteland and its inhabitant.
It's a game about finding yourself 384400 kilometers away from home.

Music: "Une chute sans fin" by "Another Moon" (Sébastien Lombard).

Special thanks to azrafe7 and everyone from the FlashPunk forums.

"Personal Trip to the Moon" is the first game I have ever managed to release and as the title suggests it is a very personal project.
Any kind of feedback is highly apreciated and please keep an open mind while playing. Thank you.

What an incredible trip this was. In this game, you drift beyond earth on a trip to the moon - but while you explore the stars you also take a journey of self-exploration.

This game's simple mechanics are well used - once you leave the ground behind, traversal and interaction with the world is intuitive and fun. The inconspicuous and beautifully-designed quest compass adds to our immersion instead of detracting from it.

Personal Trip to the Moon is a masterpiece of storytelling and ambiance - the ambiguous visuals, eerie sound design, and melancholic music give this game a immersive, existential atmosphere. And to top it off, it culminates in a truly powerful and satisfying ending. Amazing!

At the end is there anything else you can do? Cause nothing happens i stay there next to the Lunar module.

i hope you realize how much this game means to me
i played this game for the first time in 2014(or 2015?) as a small child and i didn't really understand anything at first but playing the game now as a more mature person this game was amazing, short but amazing in telling a story that the player is left to interpret, i love this game so much

Exceptional ost for an exceptional game.
Bravo Sebastien et bravo Nicole!

The atmosphere was incredible! What I loved is that you put on a topic for thinking but you leave some freedom to the player's mind, not directing his thoughts. And this is something special even in this "artistic, personal, experimental blah blah blah" category of expression. It get me thinking slightly diferent and I appreciate that. I don't think I have any actual feedback to give than my experience from playing. I also like your ideas about design and graphics, the multiple layers and the background music. In the end was just sitting there, staring at the black screen and listening to the beautiful music until it went off. Thank yoy for taking the time and resources to make this!
