You're making quite a series out of this! To be honest, I thought it was done after the second episode. Thanks for continuing, it doesn't get much better than this. I loved the Mario cape seen. Be sure to add lots of battling in the next ;')
just shy of a masterpiece
Personal feelings for the story aside for a moment because I voted as objectionally as possible.
Your visuals, detail, use of sound and music, and your animation were fantastic. Which is why I gave a 9 out of 10 overall. The one point deduction went to the shortness of the flick. Though your detail was incredible, I gladly would've sacrificed some detail for more story.
Now to the story: I was a little disappointed. I didn't like the dream concept at all. I thought Luigi getting blown in half by the bullet bills was a little over the top, especially when Mario just turned gray from the explosions and then disappeared except for his hat in the first one. The cut in half thing just didn't fit.
I also thought that the Mack Daddy Mario scene was a little dumb. I also didn't think that this fit the story. Remember that you are extending ROTMK as a whole when putting out a new episode. Varying things too drastically from one episode to the next can take away from the overall product. Doing something as crazy as Mack Daddy Mario just doesn't fit right. In the other two parts, attempts at comedy were more subtle and came off better, MDM was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Plus, you called Mario a badass mofo on your secrets page. Are you trying to say that a badass mofo would defeat a Mouser by dancing him into confusion??
In your previous screenshots you had already dubbed THIS movie as "Thwart of Wart". After seeing those screen shots what is now a long time ago, I was anticipating more of a confrontation with Wart or at least something that has to do with Wart. Wart isn't even in the movie and now 4 has been dubbed "Thwart of Wart". This is very disappointing.
On the whole it was a very top notch product. It is an inspiration to any newb flash animater or those of us who haven't even reached newb status (more of a dabbler really) yet as something to reach for.
But as a big fan of the Mario Bros. and of your work, I was looking forward to how the story advanced even more than seeing your great animation. I will still eagerly anticipate 4. Thanks for ROTMK.

This was the best piece of flash ever made, Randy. I'm sure your happy to know that there isn't just morons on the net that love ROMK, I do as well, insult me all you want, but I'm not the one that uses the word "You" as "U". And also, please, hurry up and make ROMK 4, this was marvelous, and there needs to be more people like you in the world, get more people to help you work on ROMK, to make it a big series! I love the humor AND violence, I always hated those freakin' masks... I'm glad they were used to kill a boss for once! Good job, dude!
