Reviews for "Muay Thai V. 3.0"

Really Great

From all you lazy bums to play against Ryu type in RYUROMFUTURE.

its good

but what the hell is with the ryu moves!1) Hadoken = down(tab) + forward(tab) + punch
2) Spin Kick = down(tab) + backward(tab) + kick (hold kick for longer spin)
3) Shoryuken(dragon punch) = forward(tab) + down(tab)
Special moves:
1) Super hadoken(special level 1) = down(tab) + forward(tab) + down(tab) + forward(tab) + punch
2) Super Spin Kick(special level 1) = down(tab) + back(tab) + down(tab) + back(tab) + kick
3) Super Dragon Punch(special level 3) = down(tab) + forward(tab) + down(tab) + forward(tab) + kick
i mean tab????do u mean tap???

chuanasa responds:

Oh! Shit! I meant "tap" actually. My bad.

It kept me buisy for a full five minutes

Quite honestly I think you're getting ahed of yourself. You really need to add more work into this before your next submission may it be Muay Thai V. 4.0 or Muay Thai 2. Breakdown:

Graphics: They could use work but I'm pretty impressed. My quarrel is with your flash ability you could add -so- much more to this. Customizable clothing for your fighter, varying level enemies, more exentric bosses, it's limitless! Just take your time on Muay Thai 2.

Style: It's good to see a decent fighter on NG again but as I said, with some work this could be so much more. I have about three dozzen ideas for this but my most appealing one would be weapons. Do some River City Redeux (hope I spelt that right) style here, enemies come at you with weapons, you get them, you use them. And of course being able to use weapons from the backround of the level AKA chairs, metal bars, bottles, anything! If I saw this in one of your games I'd give it my instant 10.

Sound: The song ties in well, but eventualy the whole audio make-up of this gets repeditive. Make each level more define. Use different songs relating to the setting of the level and go from there!

Violence: The fighting style is amusing and entertaining for a while before it becomes frustrating about movement and attacks. I'm definatly not one to judge here seeing as the fighting system is probably one of the hardest things to work in flash but get a flow going with it. Work out that ability to walk through enemies, put in throws, upgradeable attacks!
... But I'm a dreamer, stay the path man and keep improveing.

Interactivity: As stated in the "Violence" portion add more flow into the game. Try to interprate real physics into this. Force of kick A results in blowback B which leads to crash C... wow I hate math.

Humor: It gave me a chuckle or two with the captions but... as a request could you make the next game have a more serious edge? I know it's your game but this could and would work as a serious fighter.

Overall a pretty fun game to play when you have the time. I really hope to see the next game but please in the name of Tom F. take your time.

P.S. What would you say made you make this game? Too much free time? Just wanted to test your flash? Interested in actualy making a name of yourself on NG?... stomach problems?

good job

great game, loved it....to bad i jsut beat the damn thing on hard and forgot the write down the code for ryu...

Good fighting game.

You should be able to fight multiple opponents though. 1 enemy at a time just gets too easy.

Those who use Ryu:
down, forward, punch: hadouken (energy ball)
down, forward, punch: shinkuu hadouken(with 1 special, randomly happens)
forward, down, punch: shouryuuken (jumping uppercut)
up: jump
up+kick(+direction): flying kick
