it started half way thru a story line, some graphics were really bad like the blue fireball and the forg coz it had a black box around it and the battles were easily defeated, magus cud at least put up a fight

u brought back the memories of this game now i have to buy it back...shoulda never traded it in stupid me i didnt even get this story...i need to get all the stories then i can trade it in or maybe ill download a PS Gen and CT Emulator

Decent fan animation for Chrono Trigger
Well, I guess it's tough to make something in tribute to the original, because the original Chrono Trigger was so damned good. It's unfortunate that the thing I liked most about this flash was the music....which of course you didn't make, so, I dunno. The rest seemed kinda slow and awkward, which again, I know it's tough to make anything as good as the original CT, but still.
I guess your use of sprite animations is some of the best I've seen here, so I'll give you credit for that. But everything just feels thin, or slow, if you know what I mean. There was very little action, drama, conflict, or hints to resolution other than bland text. And if I wanted to read bland text, I could easily go find a book for that.
Overall: decent fan animation, definately not the best. Does some justice to the musical score of Chrono Trigger, but not the fighting, the conflicts, the puzzles, or the overall feel for what the videogame was actually like.

CT is my fav RPG, played it when i was a little kid. beat it many times. but that was years ago. It almost brings tears to my eyes to see that im not the only one who remembers it :D
