Reviews for "Saiyuki Opening"

.

It was alright. I think that this would be a good intro for a series involving these guys. And remember a little bit goes a long way. I saw you had two frames for the movement of a lot of things, don't be afraid to throw a few extra in to make it smoother. Also, at the end the ground was movie but the guys weren't walking, you could have easily fixed that because they were all shadows

That's because... wait, I've got a reason for that. I forgot because I did it late 2003, that time I wasn't as good as I was now... I lost the .fla file... "sob"

this seems very familiar

Is this movie going be turned into a series and if so is ur inspiration for it from the old tv series 'MONKEY' with monkey tripitake and pigsy etc. And yes i know that tv show is also based on the fairy tale of the monkey king. Just can u tell me am i correct about what you took your inspiration from??

josh-tamugaia responds:

No, you are wrong... cause I never saw the series 'MONKEY'. I took the inspiration from Journey to the West (Hong Kong series), a Taiwanese comic book and the game Saiyuki "Journey West" by Koei. And also the song inspired me. thanks!

Nice!

^^ It's nice to see some luff go to Monkey/Journey to the West/Saiyuki.
I'm more familiar with the Japanese version of the tale (through Gensoumaden Saiyuki) however, I'm on the verge of finishing the Monkey novel, and I definitely like your rendition of the characters.
~Sun Wukong's design was adorable (but at the same time, still showed how much of a fighter he was)
~XD I like Tripitaka's crown. (and how you showed his powers, although they're not used too often, as far as I could see in the novel)
~Pigsy looked great, a bit more friendly then I would've thought him to be though. (^^ It would've been good if you showed how much he and Monkey fought throughout the journey)
~Sandy looked good too, although I thought he had red hair. (Not that I'm complaning though!)

All and all, good job! *high five*

nice

nice little flash u have here
