Reviews for "The 5 Shades of Blue"

I really liked it

I reallr liked this entry it was inspirational and just beautful. I liked the fact that they only used 5 shades of blue it was a masterpeace and i loved it.

My favorites were the animations by Xionic_Demon and Greedom. Great job, you two. My ratings are on those two animations.

solid: ***

+dnr: enjoyable character
designs and unique, retro-
esque artistic style.
+greedom: love the smooth
fbf animation style and a
little bit of the ultraviolence.
+zeckyspacelizard: i marvel
at how you do the gorgeous
water effects, very spiffy.
+djamin: very interesting
style of animating and
artistic style.

-mynamewontfit: wtf? the
animation was only subpar
and the idea and direction
was incoherent.
-spacechicken: meh...humor
was decent, but the visuals
were mediocre. though the
easter egg was amusing.
-xionicdemon: music was
fitting, though the graphics
were simplistic.

Sad

some stuff was just like some chewing gum you chewed for too long ,tasteless but the ideas [all of them ] were good my fav is the one about...fuck it all of it was nice HOPE YOULL COME UP WITH MORE CHALLENGES [why not make one where you could only use black and white ? Everything would have to be made look like shadows.]

It was decent

I quite liked the idea of the challenge, though, some of the work submitted was...kinda lame. The one by DjAmin was far too short, the one about the guy who commits suicide is far too emo and more like something the typical high school goth would think up, rather than something artistic. The fighting one between the kid and the man wanting water was okay.

But my favourite one would have to be the one about the kid and the swimming pool. The punchline was half-expected, but it was pulled off just right enough to catch you by surprise.

This was really interesting, I'm looking forward to similar kinds of challenges.
