Reviews for "The Big Fat Tutorial"

Wow Greatness = The Big Fat Tutorial

Really like it, Trying to apply the camera to one of my current flashes, but it is buggy.

I done everything you said in TBFT but the view when tested is the contents of the top-left quarter of the viewfinder. The aspect ratio of the camera matches that of the document too. Any further advice?

Great work by the way, with that tutorial I might not get blammed with my next portal entry.

Keep it up, and thanks.

PS any advice for the camera problem?

Helbereth responds:

Did you make sure your camera is a Movie Clip?

It HAS to be a movie clip to function.

Did you make sure to put the actionscript in the first frame of the MC?

Did you make sure to copy the entire actionscript?

Try copying and pasting it directly (don't miss anything).

Are you using Actionscript 2.0?

If not that might be the problem. I'm told this camera requires AS 2.0. Check your publish settings to find out.

Excellent!

A great tutorial for those who have used Flash before and total beginners. Outstanding!

Helbereth responds:

Well my target audience was everybody, so knowing that I made something for everybody I'm happy.

A great tutorial

Easy to follow and straight to the point.
Great tutorial. Good job.

Thankyou!!

You helped me sooo much by showing me how to make the camera thing, it is sooo much easier! I can't thank you enough man!

Helbereth responds:

Yeah that camera probably saved my sanity.

You made a Big Mistake

This Isn't Newbie Productions, it's pro's Productions

Helbereth responds:

Actually, I'd only been doing Flash for a couple months when I made this. So, technically, it's definitely produced by a n00b.
