Great game
Really loved the graphics. It made me relive all the games I used to play as a kid on my SNES. As far the coding goes I didn't saw any bugs. The only thing I did miss was shooting up and down.

Yeah I played this at freegamesonline.
When I played it it was absolute kicking ass. I was up to level 9 and I got my ass kicked again and again. I hated when that little mechanic bomb thing kept launching bombs, but I pwned that peice a shit with a Grenade. This game is so fucking sweet. I like it alot, 'cuz you know why? All my 5s belong to this!

This is without a doubt one of the better games i have played on Newgrounds. There were many great things about this game, and maybe a couple areas for improvement as well. I will tell you everything in my review.
The graphics were good but the character design kind of carried the graphics all the way through. The animation was very good, the colours were great and the character design just dominated the visuals. It seemed you spent a long time on making the enemies, and the main character look amazing. And that really paid off because they really do look great! The animation was very smooth and nothing looked out of place or choppy. The one problem with the graphics is the backrounds..there werent any but a shade of one colour. I guess i can understand why there werent any, usually the reason would be file size but yours is only 775kb. I think you got lazy on the backrounds. But anyways graphics rocked overall.
Great style too, your animating style helps out both graphics and overall style. Very good animating style, other than the backrounds. Everything was polished and refined and the characters were very detailed. You did have a story line, which is more than you can say for most games on this site. The feel to the game was pretty cool, kind of like "It all lies on me" type of thing, sort of stealthy as well. Very good work on the style aspect.
The sound was pretty good , though nothing really shocked me at how good it was. Thats very difficult to do and it seems you focused on gameplay anyways so its easily excuseable. I liked how you took time to find quite a few sound effects. The song was pretty good and i think it created that stealthy mood i talked about. The audio quality was good, sound was great!
I liked the violence you had in this. Not disgusting but enough to satisfy any craving you may have. Thats all you can really ask for in violence.
Interactivity was pretty good as this was a game. The controls were generally good but i have one problem here. I think you should have made shift to shoot, rather than CTRL, because shift is much easier to reach with your fingers. And it was a little time consuming swtiching weapons sometimes. But other than that i had no problems with the controls.
Overall this was great, this deserves the great score it has. Please make more games in the future and leave a RESPONSE if you can! Awesome work!!! 5/5

Thanks for the input and thanks everyone else for the great and fair reviews. Overall pretty good summary here. We were did have budget constraints so graphics and sounds weren't as fully there as wanted but definitely put in enough budget to make sure the game play was totally solid and fun. Of course this leaves us room for improvement so hopefully the next version will be even better because we all know a sequel always has to take it up a notch :-)
