One thing that would have made the ending really funny, though, is if after Mario kicked up that little ramp and bowser fell into the lava, in that little chamber he saw a toad who said "Thanks, but our princess is in another castle!" You could be pretty creative with what happens after that.

Yoshi was made perfectly, as if he really was from an 8-bit game.
...you know, I heard somewhere it would have been impossible to make Yoshi look like a Yoshi until the SNES was created. You made that untrue. The movements Mario made were insane. Mario could turn his head in any direction and not look like an idiot. Mario could kick and not have too long of legs. Bowser's hands and head could hide in his shell all they wanted and look like it was STRAIGHT FROM THE GAME, but it WASN'T.
