Wow
Wow. I acually got a Newgrounds account just so I could review this game, author, and other reviewers.
First, let's talk about the game. Of all the front page submissions I have seen in the past few years, this ranks very close to the bottom. Each level can be beaten with little to no effort and in under 10 seconds. Unless, of course, the game messes up, as it does very often, and the dog falls through the drawn lines, or even the made platforms. Since when does lazy coding deserve a 10 overall submission? I would let this pass more readily if you didn't actually say in one of your answers to reviewers that you were too lazy to fix anything. How appalling. Also, the levels themselves are so repetitive that I actually thought I was playing the same levels again. And again. Probably the best levels were the ones with moving parts, but it was impossible to plan for these levels, because the parts would move back to their original location when you pressed "go." Very little imagination was put into this game.
Secondly, I understand that it is frustrating that reviewers would give zeros just because they couldn't get the game to work. However, I find it ridiculous for you to post base comebacks to your critics, especially when you don't thank your supporters. Besides, your point is always that the reviewer doesn't make games, so they shouldn't be talking. This is, perhaps, the least valid argument ever made. Aren't there movie critics in the world who don't make movies? Food critics that don't cook? There are people that set trends in fashion that don't design clothes. There are sports commentators that don't coach or play (at least anymore). The fact is, people are allowed to have opinions, whether they support your material or not, and by posting your material on Newgrounds, it becomes subject to anyone who has access to the internet. It would be much more wise if you would read their criticisms, consider them, and then make your games better using these criticisms. Instead, you immaturely dismiss them as ignorant. Maybe this is the reason you will always be begging for donations off of your website instead of making real money with your talent.
In closing, I don't encourage you to stop making games. I don't encourage you to get off the internet. I don't taunt you with unimaginitive insults. I simply hope that you will start putting your all into your work and grow up.
