Absolutely Amazing
This game has such a great storyline, and, I must say, it scares you, even if you use the walkthrough(although yours in the first one was massively more adding to the effect).

Ben, you would really benefit if you make this into one huge novel after Exmortis 3 is finished.
As an author myself, I absolutely appreciate the storyline, it's construction, plot, and details. It is just awesome.
One ofthe part I liked most was the clouds. Especially as you are leaving the church. It is simply terrifying, knowing that this is not your ordinary thunderstorm at all. However, these clouds do produce rain, though, a lot of rain in fact. A rain of death and blood, that is.
The other part that I found an example of great literature is the diary in the bedroom. Reading it definitely gives you chills up your spine. If you were reading an actual diary in real life, this will terrify you to the bones. Also the part with the "beautiful sunset", and the author having a chardonnay on the porch with his wife, a romantic evening, is simply, a truly great irony and downright disturbing, since later on, we find out that the sunset is actually one of the many signs of the approaching wind of an unspeakable evil. The irony itself is terrifying.
Exmortis 2 is also a great sequel to Exmortis 1. Also other viewers may be complaining about the endings, but the game isn't over. It is just building the climax for the final Exmortis. There will probably be a great duel between Mr. Hannay and Lord Vlaew coming up, the ultimate fight between good and evil, and the fact that Lord Vlaew calls Gwen a "whore", is making Mr. Hannay REALLY angry, thus, preparing the hero for the upcoming battle.
Here is some hints and suggestions for Exmortis 3: Make sure you have plenty of flashbacks and rambling thoughts. Also in the end, show the most creepy examples you can of the devastated world, but give the reader hope that the world will be rebuilt soon.
I can only say this about the Exmortis line of games. Simply stunning. And will make a great novel and movie.
