addictive, yet kinda boring after the first level

Just needs some sprucing up.
Heaven knows how many of these types of games exist in the world. So why make another one? Well, this game has the foundation for a good idea. One possible addition to this game would be powerups given when you hit a brick that is falling (i.e. wider paddle, faster paddle, bigger ball, etc.) This would make the game start to come together more.
Otherwise, you do have a very healthy base for a potentially good game.

horizontally bouncing balls aren't fun. waiting there....for an hour for the ball to return. ah hell nah

the game concept is tried and true, u usualy can't go wrong with a brick exploding game.
the graphics arn't to bad, and the who explosion thing was coool, maybe you could add something more in the background, and u definitly should change the ball colour, it blends in to well with the bricks sometimes
for the style i give u an a for effort, not bad but again maybe spruce it up a bit in a later submission.
the music plain sucked, ya need a better sound track,
overall this was a good game, just needs a bit more tweakin and i would be really good.

HAMU kept me entertained for awhile. it has great graphics and is better than most breakout games that i've played. althought i've heard that music loop about five hundred thousand times already.
try to choose some original loops.
