Amazing....
This was amazing. I still have my NES hooked up in my bedroom and I play it every day. Oh but there was one thing that bothered me....
How do you get the other two spaceships? Is there a password? Do you have to beat the game? Do they do anything special?

Actually, the other 2 ships belong to the mini orange merchant. He uses the smaller one throughout the game to sell you stuff, and was supposed to haul ship upgrades out to you with the larger one, but we ran out of time so he does all of his peddling with the smaller ship. Sorry, they are not playable in this version. Gamma Bros 2 perhaps.. (along w/ 2 player co-op and versus!)

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The controls were simple, and the plot was also simple; like those retro-shooter games you find in arcades. Dude, you're amazing. Be sure to make more! I'm seriously looking foward to more of your flash submissions!
Graphics: A eight. The drawings and sprites fit the game perfectly. Whether you drew this (you're an amazing artist!) or ripped the sprites off some site (good choice), I enjoyed the graphics.
Style: Absolute ten! As stylish as some arcade game! With controls so simple and a plot like 'help someone find their way home, but there are obstacles in the way', it seriously deserves a ten.
Sound: There's no music, and the sound effects were cool. So this recieves a six.
Interactivity: Able to read info, config controls, move around and shoot enemies; recieves a six.
Humor: Nope!
Overall Score: Nine
Thanks for the in-depth review. Actually, there's music all throughout level 2 & level 3. Mostly abient space drones in level 1. And yes the graphics and characters are our own original artwork.
