Really great entry for Jayisgames "grow" comp
But some music would be nice, and those sound effects are quite annoying. Overall it's a good puzzle game, but we'll just have to wait and see if it wins any awards. :)

there's an exploit for level 13. in this order, grow 4 tier 2 branches, 9 tier 3 branches, and 2 tier 1 branches.

Yeah I loved this game. I thought it was very original, and I liked that it was good for all ages. I also liked that it had some difficulty to it. A lot of games that utilize something fairly different seem to be too easy...the puzzle ones anyway. This game is very inventive, and I'm glad you made it.
I do have a couple requests for a sequel or maybe to update this one.
1. Although it is simple: it would be good with a short tutorial, to explain the different items of the game and the types of branches. I realize that the branches should seem self-explanatory, but a quick explanation should suffice.
2. One or two hints for beginners under the tutorial.
Other than that I think it is a very good game. Gave it a 5.
