Simplest easiest and most functional actionscript tutorial I've seen. =o But...For some reason...your hit tests won't work, when ever I tyr to export a game with your hit tests in them, it gives me like 100 different errors. XD
Is it because I'm using flash MX 2004? (Flash 7)

This is the best flash game tutorial i've ever seen! This really helped me getting into flash. Before i saw this tutorial, i didn't know ANYTHING about flash, and now i've made a game that i'm proud of =)

i'd normaly agre with the static actionscript but if the actionscrips is huge then you're gona get people pissed off
still helpfull(ish) tho.
Very useful not just a copy and paste 'tutorial'
A good guide for long term users, one thing that this tutorial didn't clear up is saving variables for use after the .swf or whatever has been closed, such as flash game saves
