Pretty good. Needs something more.
Its nice to see the old vector games around again. To make this more interesting maybe for the second one make it a 360degree tube you are going along.

Good start
I think it's a cool little psuedo-3D engine and it feels like you got the controls and responsiveness just right. I'd love to see a more creative concept come out of this engine.
Very great, however...
You are still able to improve it.
Piramidal forms hit you even if you don't touch them (Actually it happens with all the forms, but piramidal ones are like ??? it's 1cm from me..) you can see it when you lose your last life and the form isn't over you. That's why I give a 7 instead of 10.
