Good work but still some bugs
This was a fun game but there is still some bugs in it. It froze after the character select screen the first time I played it. Also I died on level 2 and hit main menu and the astriods and enemies were flying all over the main menu. The boss battles were really cool you should focus on those.

Decent shoot-em'-up game, but repetitive and needs lives. Dont listen to people like 1-ceth graphics are actually good and not having innovative gameplay is not a good reason to downvote.

I love the classic style space shooter games and I love star wars soooo win win for me ........but you should put more wepons in the game that would make it perfect

This game is cool, but too monotonous. Different bosses would do the trick, I think. But it's a great start! Keep doing the great work.

People of the future, listen up:
Tie Fighter Assault is this man's first Flash project of ANY SORT. I understand, there's not a whole lot here and there are a ton of glaring issues. But this game wasn't meant to be perfect. If you ask me, I think Teejay here set out to make a game that ran from start to finish, and hot damn if he did that. And it's playable too! How many first games on Newgrounds can you say that about, huh? Not too many I'd bet.
It was a good start, and he even made the only Pokemon game on here I could find with (real?) Pokemon mechanics, which is a crazy coding task for one person. Anyway, I think I'm trying to say cheers and if you play this with knowledge it was his first game and it doesn't charm your socks off then I don't think you're even human.
