Enjoyable but annoying.

Hey, the game has some problems annd it's pretty hard, but it can be fun. I enjoyed the game overall; the graphics were nice, the robot-knight guy was awsome, and the gameplay was pretty good. There were a couple things I didn't like though... maybe it was just me but the controls tended to get a bit jerky, and the fact you couldn't move or even turn while blocking annoyed me a bit. The other thing was that it was just a boss fight (albeit a very good one) nothing to really work up to, just kind of "Oh here's a boss. Fight him would 'ya?" Other than that it was pretty good.

While I personally sucked at this game I still liked it, and it gave the Pink Knight some well earned time in the spotlight.

The game is hard, no shit; but all these negative reviews are not about the gameplay, they are about the game's difficulty. It's a beautiful game that, when you actually attempt to understand the boss's pattern and attacks, is a lot of fun. MindChamber does some of the best flash art I've seen, and I think Evan did a great job on his first version of the game. The pussy version should stop some of this bitching, but it seems to only have prompted people who can't win to continue to complain. Are you waiting on the super pussy version?

If you are actually attempting to find a negative, focus on the game's length. It's a minigame by description, but I would have loved to play something a lot longer.

after spending LONGER than i would like to admit playing this game
i had the boss just about beat
when i got dizzy
so i mashed buttons like crazy
only to end up hitting R by mistake
its a good thing thing the RETRY key is so godamn close to the main buttons

Couldn't stop until I got all the medals

This game is really nice and quite challenging. It might be a bit confusing at first until you know how to handle the controls, but as soon as you got the hang of blocking and counterattacking it really becomes a lot of fun. After playing it a few times while hunting for medals I actually found it too easy ^^

The only thing I didn't like is that you cannot change the direction you're looking while you keep the block button pressed. This can be your doom when you just got back up with the boss close to you; you keep the block button pressed but realize you're facing the wrong direction... SOCK, another hit. But hey, this is criticism on a high level :D

Please keep making games, you definitely know what you're doing.

In the tips maybe you should mention that you have to be pretty much on top of the boss to hit him.. -.-
