This is a brilliant game, and in regards to scope, its huge! Tons of work mustve gone into this, and it shows. You are all very talented!
if i had to make suggestions, id say more character could go into a future game, for example more expressions on characters, eyes and very important for this, and some colour apart from grey would be appreciated though i understand you wanted a drab. In design and art seems like you guys look up to The Behemoth, artist just keep doing what you are doing and youre own style will emerge, your sprites are clear and responsive! Within seconds of playing i already know what the rest of the game will be like, so if you make another game i hope its a bit more original and suprises me more, but what you have made here is pretty special! 9/10 reccomeded to action games.
