Could be better.
The game would be vastly improved by simply shifting the perspective to a bird-eye view. The rocks are very annoying to maneuver around, because you don't know where they begin or end in a three-d frame. More often than not I was visually behind a rock, but I could not move past it. This also made trying to push blocks into the correct position very annoying.
Also, the one mechanic you add - going underground and digging - does not seem to add anything new to the game. It still boils down to a block pushing puzzle, when it could be much more. You really need to utilize that digging mechanic in a lot more ways, like maybe absorbing the characteristics of whatever you dig into, and using that to solve puzzles instead of just pushing those damn rocks that I have seen in every puzzle game since the start of infinity.
Finally, there's stage 9. That stage is a simple reflex and maneuvering trick. If you are going to do that, either input a birds-eye-view perspective, or let us know beforehand that we can outrun the bubba's slap. There is hardly anything relating to a puzzle in that stage at all.
The game has potential, it really does. you just need to utilize it.
