Glitch affects graphics, but game play is unharmed
At first the graphics appeared as they were ment to. But as I played, they started getting scrampled (pieces began looking like other tiles at random, or changing color). Eventually, there were cubes of water, and neon pink seaweed making up a good portion of floor tiles.
But this never hindered the gameplay (which is very much above average). The graphic style is retro and well designed, the game is fun (the little guy jumping over bullets and dodging linear-pathed enemies reminded me of PHAROAH'S TOMB), and the controls wer good as well (something that many basement programers seem to neglect).
Even the graphic glitch wasn't a problem, since that always happened on NES games, so it just made it feel more genuine.
Overall, REDDER is an excellent game in a world of mediocrity.
9/10 (and I don't throw out high scores to just any game)
