Reviews for "Kid Launcher"

Boom!!!

I really liked the game but ill give u a10 because after a wail the kid never stopped and theirs no stop button and also i wanted to win all the badges so their was no way exepte wait

Some details

The gameplay isn't bad. It's just nothing new.
You should add a height and speed HUD. Also, because the background is always scrolling slowly you cannot see how fast the kid is flying. That removes much of the fun :(

Flown Along the Floors

I have to say I love these types of games, but with more and more of them coming out, there are obviously "Better" ones... Then again I think that we, as gamers, and flash makers, should take these "Better" ones and evolve them. Learn what makes them fun and then implement them into our new games we make. Like more items in the item shop, or even better, after a certain point, unlocking more items. Pop out of no where, and it just got that much more interesting and really keeps you playing. Also make the "flying" animation seem like you are going somewhere and in a really big hurry.

I want to see the character flying so fast they are a blurred spot in the background. Even have heavy hits or shots that make it go even faster. And end up doing the whole Dragon Ball Z effect where it just Dings in the background like it just went to some other universe. I love to see games that have longevity to them. I loved the end game animations for this game, they kept on bringing in new ones, which is great. And I love the music, it was like, new meets old school. But it would be nice to have more different kinds of music and not the same thing over and over, even though it doesn't get too repetitive.

I hope to see you implement some of these things, and really enjoy a fantastic game that you yourselves made. UNLOCKABLES are awesome and the fact that you implemented a little of them here is great.

But I can tell this game was meant for a short burst of fun, I am thinking big time here... Hoping more people would read this and or share ideas amongst ourselves as we don't want to see shovelware... But then again, everyone needs to start somewhere.

Flash starts and ends with creativity and imagination, Shine it bright as hell!!

Alright I am looking forward to your future games,

Well Done

Congratulations. You have sucessfully created a solid Launch game. There is a decent amount of skill involved, the obstacles are varied and boomy enough, the upgrades are sufficent, and the bear is pretty funny. However, there are a few flaws.

First of all, this game lacks a sense of speed. In some games, like Toss the Turtle, the tossed character would go further to the right when they are going faster and further left when they're slower. This would help make it feel like the kid is being flung 100,000 meters. Even a speedometer would help. Also, I think an altimeter would help the game. It would be nice to know how high the kid is exactly, especially once he reaches space. Speaking of space, I don't like it. I know every launch game has that, but I still don't like it. One last thing: once you launch the kid, he is completely out of your hands. One thing I liked about Toss the Turtle and Homerun in Berzerk Land is that you had plenty to do after the launch. Here, not so much.

This is a fine game, but it is far from the top of its genre.

well.. hmm

"Sorry, you did not make it into the weekly or alltime top 1000." it said that when I submit 188.985 metres score:P.. wow so that means this is a very enjoyable game.. well my opinion this kind of games are fun and exciting at the beginning.. but later, the game starts to repeat itself; same things happens and waiting time increases. Then you are out of the game..it seems like a "click and wait" type game..
Maybe you could change things with distance.. background, effects ect. whatever comes to mind.. very good game for the first time I hope and I think u'll do better next time
