Reviews for "Cursed Treasure"

Crypt overpowered.

Seems better than all the other towers. Just spam crypts to win. And also put all your points in crypts.

Interesting twist on tower defenders...

Love that the towers gain experience.
Graphics have final polish.
Sounds FX great - although the 'fear' sound and something sounding like a dove noise became repetitive and annoying after a while.

Had to knock a couple of points off, as after a while some bugs began to ruin the game. The worst was the Demon skill 'Return Portal'. Sometimes the timer wouldn't count down. Other times, the gem would return, but only visually - the next mob through could pick up the gem from where it ported from.

Would love to have some shortcut keys other than just SHIFT.
ie. 1, 2 and 3 for the different spells. Q - attack, E - fast/slow.

Good TD

This has got to be my next favourite TD after Gemcraft. The depth of gameplay is solidified with the great upgrade system and level 'medals'. 'Brilliant' endings are so hard to get, but because of that, they're also very satisfying.

The upgrade structure has got to be my favourite bit here. I'm still in the midst of trying several different upgrade paths in three different games. First I tried concentrating upgrade points on a single tower type. Then I tried two, and then three. It's interesting how each of those makes the strategy completely different. Despite only having 3 basic towers, and 6 tower upgrade choices, the upgrade trees make it still incredibly challenging and fun.

The upgrades themselves are very well thought out. I like the effect they have on the tower fire rates as an overall upgrade and also the effect on all other aspects of gameplay like spells and money and mana and such. And thank you for the cumulative experience. I feel that it makes it a lot easier to tackle harder levels with some tower 'grinding'. And the difficulty does take quite a sharp curve, but it's well balanced by the cumulative experience points.

There were some frustrations throughout the gameplay I must admit. Initial tower range does feel very limited. Especially on some maps where the path is just so wide in some areas. Most times this means that certain towers can't be placed anywhere but the edge, and sometimes you do want that extra bit of firepower but there just isn't anymore space for it.

The other thing that felt a little tough was the 'ghost' enemies. I don't think it's quite so fair to make them disappear the moment they get hit. This leaves their damage to only be dealt by the towers near the end and because those are at the back they aren't leveled up to handle them anyway. It's especially bad when I don't have a high damaging tower up front like a critical. And it takes a rough turn when the champion enemy turns out to be a 'ghost' too. It's almost impossible to counteract that effect sometimes.

I did enjoy myself playing this though. I think it's overall very well balanced and has enough depth to sustain longer gameplay.

Love it

Love the game play & the ability to level up skills. I'm finding this a bit addictive

Good game.

Nice interface, good balance.
Just try to keep original, don't just inspire in something SO WELL KNOWED,
like you do. Yes, i'm talking About WarCraft III Reign of Chaos and it's expansion set.

Still, awesome game.
