I disagree with most of these reviews.
I get exactly what you were going for, I don't think the other reviewers quite understand that if you would have kept with the same upgrades IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME GAME. I thought this was beautifully designed. Simple, yet slick and challenging. The mapping was great, the kitty throw was a fun challenge (and such a sigh of relief when you get the kitty recall), and the whole 'have to kill yourself to progress' concept is just part of making this game more of a challenge. I'm not sure why this game is getting such mixed reviews but here are my final thoughts:
I couldn't stop playing, I loved Robot Wants Kitty and I thought Robot Wants Puppy was an incredible sequel. Just as entertaining as the first with it's own unique aspects. The controls are as smooth as smooth can be, the music creates a perfect atmosphere and sucks you into the game that much more, the upgrades were quite nice as well. Other people complained that you're not giving us cool enough stuff--I completely disagree. You added new elements but kept it challenging. It accomplished what a free online flash game should: A good challenge, continuous entertainment, and a new interesting concept. Great.
Overall, fucking WONDERFUL game, thank you so much. I cannot wait to see what you have for us next.
