Purchase-worthy characteristics in a free game!

First, let me say that this game is just plain awesome. Rarely do I see such purchase-worthy content in a freeware flash game.

In my opinion, you've done a great job utilizing the isometric view. The only problem with it is, without a rotational field view, it's hard to see what's lurking behind some of the scenery, but I don't think that holds you back because, like I said, no one's dishing out a dime to play it.

I agree with some of the people who mentioned the lack of NPC's. I agree with them in the sense that their presence would make the game feel more friendly.

You've done an outstanding job implementing all the quests that you did. This made for hours upon hours of enjoyment. Especially to people like me who have to complete everything before moving forward to the next stage.

The pet system was ingenious. I liked the idea of having a pet, but as everyone has said, there lies problems in maintaining them. They do not regenerate health and when they die, all the hard work that went into flourishing them is lost. This is difficult because, more often than not, enemies will attack my pet and it's difficult to maintain their health with the item system. Also, the pet should defend itself when attacked while halted.

In reference to the main character, I don't have a problem with how fast or how much the character regenerates health. To me, there in lies the challenge. If you're like me, you'll level the character up far beyond the enemies before proceeding in where small regenerative health no longer becomes an issue.

As far as items, my only concerns are: 1. the lack of healing items for the pet and 2. the cost of healing items for the main character. Generally a ladder healing item should cost less than the equivalant amount of the weaker health item to regenerate the same health. What I found myself doing is simply buying, in extremely large quantities, the simplest health item because I could regenerate more health for a cheaper price. There's no stipulations for purchasing the greater health items other than having to buy fewer amounts.

The last thing I want to mention is possibly some bugs in the game. I haven't seem many and maybe this is standard, but I noticed that, when inflicted with status ailments such as stun or freeze, some enemies are still able to attack in normal interval. Also, with a couple of pets, they don't consistently attack. They attack once and then just stand there. Other than that, I haven't witnessed anything else that I'd consider a bug.

Once again, I want to express that I truly enjoy this game. Whenever I find myself with some down time, I'm playing this game. I, just like plenty of others, would absolutely love to see a sequel. Good job!

Please make a sequel

You did such a nice job with this one, i have a few ideas to help with the next, like the pets have skills they can learn
