Reviews for "Crusher"

great!

That was pretty nifty.

My only complaint is that those walls get way too fast, and inevitably catch up to me, and the second time they got me, the screen did not scroll, taking all my lives.

Ah well. Great start for your first game. Cant wait to see the next one.

PS: I also encountered this game from the song. It was a choice song I was going to use in my own flash game. :D

It's good!

The only problems I found was that she moved a bit slow.

Also, can you make the "sensor" for the girl a bit smaller? Sometimes it seems like she barely fit into the gaps. On several occasions, I started to fall down a hole, but when I turned too quickly to head toward the next hole, she wasn't far enough down, and it bounced her right back onto the platform I was trying to leave.

otherwise, great! :)

Tykox64 responds:

the problem has to do with flipping the bounding box when the character is rotated, I couldn't think of a practical way to solve this without alot of core re-writing after tha game was pretty much done. I do apologise to those of you who get caught by the crushers because of this very small and stupid glitch. Actually, I just thought of a solution. ~edit~

Something

About this game is sorta epic the lil sprite girl crying plus the music and the sheer scariness of the crusher is kind of soul touching...Mastering is in order...

Excellent first subsmission

This is a great first game, the animation looks fairly good and the gameplay is quite smooth, and I absolutely adore the way the robots look disappointed when you pass them.
I have just a couple of criticisms.
1. The game looks a little sparse, there should be more scenery or objects in the game, just to make it look more interesting. Preferably with the details changing the further you go down for a good sense of progression.
2. The lives in the top right, while the crying animation is good, and makes the game feel livelier and well polished, I kept thinking of it as an indicator of something. If she cried when death was near and looked happy when you were (relatively) safe it would've been better.

Don't be discouraged though, this really is brilliant for a first submission, hell, this is a lot better then some peoples hundredth submissions. I can see a lot of greatness coming from you in the future.

Ops... what? Machine?

I know that this is the type of game where the hero dies anyway ...
little miss that I do not know why it is in the Masa ... a few words at home .. whether it be suicide-prone adrenaline sport or just mad hero
also seems to me that there was more background, a little different terrain and the sliding was slower than jogging ...
but otherwise very nice game:))
