Reviews for "Rigoberto, The Yak"

Bad...just bad.

First of all, the only good thing about this game is the concept. It's a good concept, with really poor execution.

Second, the bad. Where do I start? In the beginning, the second hole you have to jump over is almost impossible with the terrible edge detection. The graphics look like solid colors just converted to symbols and left alone. Not much done with animating the movement and controls. Nothing done at all, actually.

After barely finishing the first chapter, the second chapter just killed me at the beginning of its level for no reason. Then I go all the way back to the main menu.

This game certainly has potential. Just too many bugs and needs some fixing. Try fixing some of the platform errors, those were the biggest problems out of them all.

Needs some work.

This could be a decent platformer if the gaps were fixed up so you don't fall if you're barely on the edge. I liked the enemies and the music, though. Reminded me a little of Spyro the Dragon.

Bad Platformer

Edge Detection is poor. You don't really know if/when you will fall or make a jump. Controls are laggy. Enemies sometimes miss you but you die anyways. Lots of fine tuning is needed to make this game enjoyable.
It's also too slow.
How this game got the OK for medals is beyond me.

Pretty good

It is a fun game but it a little hard to jump gaps and enemies

Yes, thanks a lot for the review

Nice job!

It is a good platformer. It is an interesting twist to make the enemies invincible and add one life. The jump function sticks, though. Plus you never say why he wants to escape. You give the feeling that he is leaving because he wants more in life, but you say he is escaping;thus, he is trapped. Sorry if I'm kinda blathering, but I like storys with alot of support. That aside, I love the animation! I can definitely see a sequel. Also, good job with the music choices. I'd give this a 10 if it werent for the jump button.

MonoFlauta responds:

Wow, great, thanks a lot for the review, yeah the jump button has been the problem but well... other than i think its a really good game...
Also dont know if you won the game... but if you won it you will understand the whole story :)
