Reviews for "The Cursed Beneath"

Nice

Love the graphics. Controls are smooth, animations are smooth. The bleeding walls were a nice touch. I like that the levels change instead of having the player stay in the same arena (which is typical of this type of game).

My only gripe is that I would rather see a custom crosshair instead of my mouse pointer to aim, and maybe brighter bullet trails. Beyond that, good job.

nice game

bug:
When I use the Tesla gun enemies not drop a package of health (when they die).

I do not see difference in appearance and firepower weapon between 1 - max level upgrade.

all the same nice game

Little too hard

The game got a little too hard too quickly. By this I mean that there were too many zombies at once and I was completely demolished! I believe that you could fix this by either have A) Less Zombies B) Weaker Zombies C) Stronger Guns or D) More Health Dropped. If you were to employ any of those 4 ideas i believe the game would be much more enjoyable.

Now onto the good stuff.
The game was fun and the controls were decent (they stuck a few times but not too often). The graphics went quite well with the game and the levels were interesting for a bit (maybe add a different background ever few levels). Music was good as well but the shriek got a bit annoying after a while (Maybe make it only when the monster spawns?).

Overall a great game though! Keep up the great work!

fun!

wow, this game is fun! But sometimes ints a little hard though :P
but still its good :) hope a next part will come out? :P

Awesome!

Loved this game! Will be even more awesome when it is completed / has more chapters!! I quite liked the menu art too.

The difficulty is perfect - quite challenging, but doesn't feel impossible: hint to those having difficulty: don't stand still, pick a weapon & max it, on each level find somewhere high up you can double jump between (think of it as the high ground with an escape route...). I got to level 4 with maxed revolvers before really needing anything heavier, and still think they beat most of the other unmaxxed weapons (lol - but I hate slow fire rate/reload weapons!) To be fair I did finish (fail?) using a fully upgraded rail gun (boom! headshot!) and didn't try all the weapons fully upgraded. LOL! I just noticed there is a difficulty setting on the title screen!

For those of you keen for a storyline: I think there is the beginning of storyline, but because the game abruptly ends when you reach level 7, there is only enough exposition to hint at a much richer back-story.

More game!!
(Please.)
