The most glitched game I played on Newgrounds.

Man, gotta be frank with you: this game sucks.

I played the first Narcolyxii, and thought that the game had potential. It was already very glitchy but not like this... did you even wasted a few minutes bug hunting? It seen's not...

1 - What's wrong with the main character? It doesn't have proportion, his stance looks weird. Seriously his holding the gun with his badly damaged hand or leg? That's got to be one of the ugliest character design I ever saw...

2 - Stupid AI. Narcolyxx spawn principally. If I just hold still they waste hours standing there just to attack a single time and them take ages to attack again. The big ones are more agressive but a single trick and they as good as dead. Stand as close as you can to them. They miss (!!!) some attacks. If you keep pressing with the gun they don't fight back at all.

3 - Collision gltiches. Does the Narcolyxii Mothership have invisibe walls? And invisible runaways? The ion glove allows me to pass through walls. You can't make full use of the room because the walls seens out of reach. And after the second big narcolyx battle you can't use the botton ramp. Going to the wall to your left, you will be able to pass through it, seeing a stupid PC drawing with Flash running on it. You knew the game was this buggy don't you?

4 - Upgrade system? What it does? Gives you only one more bullet for the handgun? Come on... What a waste of time. Instead of creating it, you could had spend that time debuging this thing.

5 - The nightmare sequences had potential, but they hadn't enough polishing and care. Instead of playing with this, you created a crappy upgrade system.

6 - Good one for a break: Excelent use of music and sound. Keep this up. Your's 2 star's rating are due to it.

So, buggy game undeserving of a front page.

Don't like it

I know everybody says this, but there are too many glitches. Like when you get into fear for the first time. If you run away, you still stay in fear, while you are far away. Or like going through walls with your fist, meeting Varanoth without getting a medal, not showing the exp you get from a Narcolyxx, and a lot more. Also, I really don't like the slow down thing. It's okay to me to be slowed down a bit when you come to a Narcolyxx, but I don't like when I have to walk upwards for half a minute to get to the last boss. Especially because almost all of the backgrounds look the same. What I do like, is the story. I really like the Idea of ''aliens'' that poison you so you see all sorts of things that are not there.

Make better backgrounds, make it longer (not 10 minutes), and REALLY, REALLLY, REALLY take care of all the glitches. Only then it would be fun to me.

Can't play

The options menu comes up the moment the game loads. Selecting return causes it to come back up less than a second later, selecting main menu brings me back to the main menu but leaves the menu up. The menu will never go away even if I start playing the game.

alright

this game was... alright I suppose. the story is still there and still great, the graphics leave a little to be desired, but nothing to really complain about, but the gameplay just ended up like any other shooter. The bosses provided no challenge what-so-ever, and the nightmares were... well... they were OK, but not what I had expected after the amazing first game. It left alot to be desired, and had much less of the originality that encompassed the previous game... It was alright over all, but to be honest, it was a letdown.

very glitchy

the ion glove allows you to jump through walls in several places and walk outside of them. and the walls arent real to the enemies...
all of the narcolyxii i fought got stuck after i walked around them once or twice and the smaller units would get stuck occasionally as well.
a game shouldnt be notable just because of its rampant glitches
