Reviews for "Stitchland Conflict"

Stitch what?

Ok I really wouldnt call it stitch art graphics... some of it looked pretty decent but on the other hand some of it looked like crap. Why is it stitch art without a back story or something to explain. It doesnt have to have a plot but giving it a plot makes it more involved and gives you a reason to make it a different style other than just wanting to do something slightly different. Also as soon as the first level started I got a headache just from all the crap on screen. It just looked like the whole style was throw as much crap on screen as possible to try and make it interesting... for me it didnt.

its alright

Its a good game, but on lvl 1 there shouldn't be a screen full of enemies and enemy bullets/missiles. You got to build up to that kind of stuff, not just throw it at the player right off the bat.

Bug effects gameplay entirely

Game keeps freezing after level completion... Irritating to refresh after each level.

Doesn't leave an impression.

Mechanics: The money becomes irrelevant very quickly. The player is seriously overpowered, even against bosses. Jump is strange; feels too fast throughout. Awards are very easy to get; the hardest is finishing a level with full health, but combine the shield with the frequency of the health drops and even it is trivial. Weapons are balanced understandably. Overheat mechanic works well.

Story: lol

Aesthetics: This seems to be the real point of this game, given it's called "Stitchland". Press button, watch numbers emerge from explosions. The style is certainly nice, but it isn't implemented thoroughly. The paratrooper looked pixelated, not like fabric. The background never changed. I muted the sound immediately because _there was no volume control_. Need that. But the music is short, repetitive, and the sound effects are appropriate and repetitive.

It's just... a game. You press things, things blow up, you get upgrades, numbers appear... For a timewaster, it's fine. For a game, it could be a lot better.

Zylom

it looks to muts like heavy weapon deluxe for Zylom....
