Decent RPG
I'm going to try and be really unbiased here and review all aspects of the game properly and thoroughly.
Music: I thought the music was really well done, however, it was kind of repetitive. This is a really minor problem though because overall it was decent.
Graphics: This was the part that really stunned me. The graphics is superb. It is breathtakingly clear and the detail placed into the drawings and animations is stunning. The animation was precise and smooth and the detail of the weapons and armors were pretty damn awesome.
Controls: The controls for the combat were good, nothing too clunky and good tutorials to show where everything is. Pretty much the standard Turn Based RPG interface.
Gameplay: It's a turn based RPG, you really can't deviate much from the original idea though I have to say that the concept is carried out well and it stays true to the nature of the game.
Voice Acting: Yes, as someone pointed out below, the voice acting is somewhat humorous at times though I have to say that the effort to voice act every single line must be commemorated. It is very hard to voice act dialog and overall, the voice acting was done well, but could have been improved.
Overall, the genre and concept of the game has been done before and yes, been done better, such as RPGs like Sonny and Sonny 2. However, one must give praise to the animators and designers for their hard work and the excellent work they have provided for us.
P.S. Don't feel bad. Games like Sonny and Sonny 2 are almost impossible to beat in terms of the Turn Based RPG genre. If I weren't comparing this game to those "once in a decade" games, this game would have scored highly.
