Reviews for "APOKALYX"
it was good
could use improvement in many places like the tutorial about skills, and also it looked a lot like a mix of many games on Newgrounds such as swords and sandals, Sonny( one of my favorites), and a few others I can't remember.
But other than that everything is awesome sauce, and great graphics, battle style and weapons(could use a couple different types weapons though) and everything else.

Good but buggy.
The game in it's own right is good, a very in depth RPG it seems, but at the battle with Akira(I think) the game wouldn't let me fight. Sooo that early in game it bugged and I couldn't proceed . Therefore the score is low.
Great, but not enough.
For some it might be great, for others its extremely boring, im one of the "others", alot of games is turn based, but thats not what makes me give you a 6.
Sound and Music: 8/10 The music was fabulous with a real feel like you were in a ancient place, with the drums circulating and the violins playing in the background, and so was the voice acting, the only game i know who have a good voice acting like this is "Sonny". Which bring me to my next point.
Gameplay: 3/10 The gameplay was quite interesting at first with the battle themes and action commands, however it gets boring very fast, i can see immediately that this game is a sort of mixture between "Swords and Sandals" and "Sonny" gameplay wise, and unfortunately, there is alot of games like them.
Story: 7/10 The story was one of the most interesting ive seen, counting that there is 3 different to choose from and you made a video for each one of them, it is quite interesting.
and finally
Graphics: 8/10 The graphics was quite amazing if i can say so myself, the 3D characters against a 2D background never gets old, and really brings a deep feel for the game.
in total i can say that it is actually roughly 6,5/10
ok but...
It looks like you put in a lot of effort to make this game and it is good but very repetitive and I don't think it is a good idea to make a larger version of it.On other note.. in game all monsters are easy except for the bosses who are almost impossible (you should consider letting people help you in boss battles).
