so frustrating

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

very tiresome

Well damn, I only had to go a little longer and I'd have been number one, I only stopped because it was too annoying to continue. There's a very, very simple trick to going indefinitely with this. Just let everything chase you. Around and around and around in a circle. Sweep near all the screws that fly in straight lines, and very few of the stars will ever go off because either the screws or the annoying red pixie things that chase you around will usually get them, and the pixies will almost all be flying together and in the exact same position - and what's more, there's obviously a limit to the number that can be on the screen at any one time at any given skill level - so if they're all at the same position, there might as well only be 1 of them as far as the difficulty in avoiding them is concerned. I could have scored 100 million if I could stand to go at it long enough. Also note you get way more points when the screws kill the stars than when the pixies kill the stars. Once you are at the uppermost level and reliably don't get hit, each star killed by a screw will get you 200k odd points and it piles on pretty fast that way. Not that I'm terribly interested in the strategy of this game, I'm just saying.

I also would like to point out that the game developer may have a future in programming or specifically game development but absolutely, positively none whatsoever in the field of musical composition. For the next hundred years I think this should be the pinnicle example of why developers should use music other people have made. That whole left brain, right brain thing. Yeah, that's got to be it.

Err.

7 brosif, I would let the robot still as i'm waiting for a star to appear... and then one spawns on top of him... needs some type of awareness other than a motion detector around the enemies. Good stuff though, like astroids revamped, bravo.
